| Jesse Thomas III Personal Trainer I have been involved with fitness and sports all of my life. In high school I played Football, Basketball and Track, and went on to receive a scholarship to play running-back at Benedictine College in Atchison, KS. I have been a starter for the team the last three years and have one year remaining. I served as the captain of the Ravens Varsity Football team from 2008-2009. After an ACL injury, I went on to student coach for the Ravens Football team in the Spring & Fall of 2009. The discipline and drive I learned from football has helped me bounce back from my injury, making me faster, stronger, and more determined than ever. I am currently a Fitness Specialist with "Heartland Athletic Republic" in St. Joseph, Mo. I have over 2 years of experience in implementing athletic performance enhancement programs which develop performance components such as agility, speed, and power. I also have received my certification as a Personal Trainer. I enjoy working one-on-one with my clients incorporating the knowledge that I have learned through my experience as an athlete and helping my clients achieve their personal fitness goals.
I am majoring in Physical Eduction with a minor in Business, concentrating in Sports Management. I will graduate in the fall semester of 2010. I enjoy learning new things that make me a better trainer and athlete, but even more so, I enjoy spreading that same knowledge to my clients. Current Certifications: Personal Training through National Council on Strength and Fitness; Healthcare Providers CPR & AED through American Heart Association
