BARNONE Testimonials Hear what our clients are saying!  AND their amazing results!

Megan Gripka

I started working out with BarNone Training 6 months ago.  By combining personal training, classes and the nutrition plan, I lost 20 pounds and have reached a much higher level of fitness.  The classes are intense but fun and the instructors are knowledgeable and push you to perform at your very best.  I look forward to every workout!

Start of Week 7

·         Didn’t think I could do it…I did it!
·         Thought I would die…I didn’t!
·         Just one day at a time…made it to week seven.
·         Don’t want it to end…sign me up again.

At the end of December, my sweet husband Ted saw something on facebook (he doesn’t even have one FB account!) about BarNone Boot Camp 60 Day Challenge.  He made the proposal.  I resisted.  He kept asking.  I kept saying “I’ll think about it”.  He said “we have to sign up now.”  I said “I really don’t want to, but ok fine.”  He said “we can do it together.”  I said “great” (sarcastic J).  He signed us up.

Jan. 2, we went.  We kept going.  Today is the start of week 7.  We go four mornings a week because that works best for us.  60 minutes per class.  Didn’t think I could exercise for 60 seconds.

I love the trainers.  I believe Wilson when he says he “only hires the best.”  They are the best.  Our workouts with Anna, Bobbi, Shauna – and Wilson have been grueling.  I remember asking “Am I going to be in pain for 60 days?”  And they said “but it hurts so good.”  I had to change my perspective.

They push me, say my name out loud, believe in me, support me and encourage me even when I feel like I can’t do it.  I am inspired by the committed, fit, healthy people that signed up for this challenge.  I would never have signed up for a class like this because everyone else is so much better and miles ahead of flabby, unfit me.  I am glad Ted made me do it.  I have really enjoyed meeting new friends through this process.  I don’t know any of their last names, but I do hope I see them again.

What I like…
·         The cost/deal – financially the cost worked for us.
·         The location…12 minutes from home.
·         The variety…never thought I’d say that - love that it always changes.  No two workouts are alike.
·         Our boot camp trainers – Anna & Bobbi
·         Love the boxing!  Never thought I’d say that!
·         At the beginning, I couldn’t do a full sit up.  I can do one now.
·         I couldn’t do a “guy” push up.  Today I did 20.

I am getting stronger.  I proved to myself that I CAN do it.  I now know that the only thing that held me back was fear that I couldn’t do it or that I would look ridiculous trying.  I am going to finish.  I will keep going because I like the way it feels to have a muscle again.  I want to have two muscles.  Better commit.  Alright, sign me up, Wilson.  What’s another 60 days?!

“Wilson has helped me succeed and maintain my fitness goals since 2006. He is very knowledgeable in all aspects of fitness and can customize my workout regime to fit me. While respecting my individual needs and limitations, he pushes me much farther than I ever would on my own. He provides for me not only creative and balanced fitness regimens, but also the positive support to keep me going. He is a person of impeccable integrity and professionalism. He makes it a point to get to know all of his clients on a personal level that enables us to work as a team. I highly recommend Wilson Thomas for all fitness needs.”
